The video was posted on YouTube on 3 September 2013, and has over 100 million views as of October 8. It has been compared to K-pop hit "Gangnam Style".Currently, "The Fox" is no. 6 in the Billboard Hot 100, the highest ranked song by a Norwegian artist on Billboard since A-ha's number 1 hit "Take on Me in 1985.
